This section provides useful links for agencies and instructors who wish to refer consumers to web-based resources for ongoing learning.
1) Bank of America Financial Education and Tools
This consumer website covers Savings and Budgeting, Managing Credit and Debt, Vehicle Purchase, Home Purchase, Loans, Credit Cards, Credit Scores and History, and Education and Small Business Financing. Information is offered, for example, on what your credit score is based on and ways to check your credit history. Financial planning advice, including calculator tools, is provided.

2) The Beehive
This bi-lingual, online resource gives consumers and providers easy access to information and resources on a wide range of topics—including housing, employment, money management, entitlement programs, family services, and health care. Hands on tools show users how to handle basic money matters, including how to write a check and build a family budget. The site also offers a tax-filing component and Earned Income Tax Credit calculator. The Beehive’s resources cover the Boston area, and will soon cover the entire UWMBMV footprint. www.thebeehive.org.
3) The Boston Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Campaign
Consumers can learn more about eligibility for EITC, review free tax preparation sites, and sign up for training to be a tax preparation volunteer. www.bostontaxhelp.org.
4) AmericaSaves™
Enrolled savers receive a newsletter offering information on savings topics, introduction to other savers achieving their financial goals, and email access to free financial planning advice. America Saves™ is a national campaign involving more than 1,000 non-profit, government, and corporate groups that encourages individuals and families to save and build wealth.
